This weeks sermon

This Sunday Pastor Ed will be continuing his "Life in Christ" series from Paul's letter to the Ephesian church. He will be sharing a message from Ephesians 6 as he begins unpacking the different pieces of armor that Paul describes we need in order to fight the spiritual battles that face Christians every single day. Next in verse 15 we will hear Paul describing the next piece of armor, which is the proper shoes that were required for a soldier to stand firm. You see, in order to be battle-ready, it was vital that the soldier was wearing the right type of foot covering. Because of the rough terrain and rocks and debris from war, if the soldier wasn't wearing the proper shoes, he would injure his feet, or would be subject to slip and fall; and losing his footing could be devastating. Likewise, as we prepare for our spiritual battles, it is crucial that we make sure we are wearing the proper footwear of God to be able to be stand firm!
